Cockatiels make a wonderful hobby and wonderful pets!
For those who want to handle their birds often, we suggest hand-tamed Cockatiels. Please research through reading, the internet, and asking questions of pet shop clerks before purchasing a Cockatiel. The more you know and understand about these wonderful birds the better relationship you and your Cockatiel will have with each other.

We have some more young Tiels on the way.
Of the 2 that hatched we are keeping one for future breeding stock.
At least 3 more eggs SHOULD hatch in the next 2 weeks!
Not decided about whether to sell them to a local pet shop or to try to sell them to individuals to go directly to their new homes.

Why not try to sell them to homes? they would probably get more attention going straight to a new home, and you can always sell the ones that don't get homes to a pet shop later.
Thank you for the suggestion. We have done that in the past. Our home in Auburn is on a main road but between the road being split by a divider and traffic driving awful fast (for in town)... most people have a hard time finding our house for the first time without us meeting them somewhere in town to follow us to our home. Since we currently do not have transportation it was easier to sell a few of our Cockatiels to Pets & Stuff on Hutchinson Road in Auburn Maine.
The next broods (about 2 months) we will sell many of our Cockatiels to private homes.
