The OC blog - The Our Cockatiels Blog

Cockatiels make a wonderful hobby and wonderful pets! For those who want to handle their birds often, we suggest hand-tamed Cockatiels. Please research through reading, the internet, and asking questions of pet shop clerks before purchasing a Cockatiel. The more you know and understand about these wonderful birds the better relationship you and your Cockatiel will have with each other. If you click on our photos; you will have a super close-up.

3 Hand-tamed Cockatiels For Sale

One of 3 hand-tamed youngsters for sale.

The 3 Cockatiels shown on this blog-post had hatched around Thanksgiving week.
Their father (Snowy) was an albino Cockatiel
and their mother (Pearly) was a Pearl Cockatiel
(gray/white/white-pearled-spots with no yellow, no orange cheeks).

There were 4 eggs. All 4 hatched.
All 4 birds are hand-tamed.
All 4 are healthy.
The reason their is only 3 on this blog is because
we have decided to keep Snowy Jr. who is an albino like his father.
In another blog post sometime I will show pictures of our 2 albinos, the 2 Snowys.

OK. Here are the hand-tamed Cockatiels that are for sale.

These 3 Cockatiels are for sale for $125 each.
They are Thanksgiving 2007 Cockatiels,
about 3 months old in this photo and hand-tamed.

That is my wife Rosemary Mazzulla in these photos.

They love to preen Rosemary's hair like she is a Cockatiel
and even hide under her hair like her hair was a larger birds wings
I had a hard time getting a clear picture of the birds.

In this last photo you see 2 of the 3 cockatiels.
The third one is on Rosemary's other shoulder.
